About Cytomine
Since 2010 in Liège, Belgium
Cytomine is an open-source web application designed for the viewing and analysis of large-scale biomedical images, such as digital histological slides. It enables the management, annotation, and sharing of image collections, supporting histologists, pathologists, biologists, researchers, educators, and students. Launched in 2010 at the Montefiore Institute, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Cytomine is a proudly developed and maintained by the University of Liège.
